The advent of the Covid-19 Pandemic across Nigeria, hospitals and medical facilities are no longer perceived as safe havens to seek quality medical care. Reports of hospital-acquired Covid-19 cases abound either from patients to doctors, doctors to patients or confirmed positive patients spreading it to other innocent patients. Facilities now turn down patients due to the potential risk of transmitting the infection. The pandemic should not be a complete barrier to accessing quality medical care and treatment.
